Why Blog?

Since I was a little girl there has been an author's voice in my head. Everything I did and felt happened in my mind in the dialog of a story playing out. I attempted to write some stories but always lost my steam. I do not like the physical aspect of writing- hand cramps. Now as an adult in the digital age, I have unprecedented opportunities to write. No one may ever read this blog but it will give me pleasure to know that I am fulfilling an aspect of a childhood dream.

More important than my childhood fantasies is the idea that I feel I now have something to offer others. I don't have the wisdom of dignitaries or the professional style of writing that some may have. What I do have is desire to share my struggles and triumphs in this cold hard world. All that I share is seen through the glass of my faith. Faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of the world. My life is far from perfect - far. I have always valued transparency in others - the ability to not pretend like life is perfect but to share our sins and struggles to benefit others. That is what I hope to accomplish in this blog. Transparency and faith and hope.
